Kate Middleton’s wedding dress latest: Sophie Cranston of Libélula chosen as designer? – Telegraph.

Ok…get ready  for this. Rather than Amanda Burton  for Alexander McQueen, or Alice Temperley, the designer of Kate Middleton’s wedding dress may just be…Kate Middleton herself!

According to reports this weekend, Kate has designed her own dress, with a huge train, and a nod to Diana’s iconic 1981 dress, and the dress is now being made by Sophie Cranston, the designer behind Libelula.

Sophie made the beautiful black velvet coat that Kate wore to a wedding back in January.

With just 11 more days until the grand unveiling, we will just have to wait and see…

    This is exciting if this is what Kate has done, however hoping that the dress is not to much like Diana’s as although that dress is iconic now I never really liked it.
