Balenciaga’s new fragrance to launch exclusively at Harvey Nichols

When asked to think of a label that exudes style, sophistication and timeless elegance, Balenciaga is sure to spring into the mind. From the days of the legendary Cristobal Balenciaga, who changed the silhouette of women with his tunic dresses and empire lines,  to the modern-day innovations of Nicholas Ghesquiere, Balenciaga is synonymous with luxury that for many of us, is unobtainable.

But whilst we may not be able to afford the dress, we can buy into the fantasy through the beautiful fragrances. Last year’s Balenciaga Paris was a huge success, and now Balenciaga are about to launch a new fragrance. Balenciaga  L’Essence is an intoxicating mixture of violet notes teamed with woody mosses. The face of the new fragrance is Charlotte Gainsbourg, actress and muse for Nicholas Ghesquiere, she is truly the perfect face for such a modern and edgy fragrance.

The fragrance will be launched officially in September, but Harvey Nichols customers will be in for a treat, as the fragrance is exclusively available from the store from today! Balenciaga L’Essence Eau de Parfum costs £44 for 30ml, £59 for 50ml and £75 for 75ml. It will be available exclusively at Harvey Nichols from July 12 for eight weeks before its general release in September.
