I wrote a blog a few months ago concerning the one of the new additions to the X Factor panel, Tulisa. It was in response to news that X Factor had hired a stylist in order to make the NDubz singer appear more sophisticated, and said she was faring quite badly in the style stakes in comparison to the stunning Kelly Rowland.
Well, I have to say that the transformation is complete. In recent weeks Tulisa has just blossomed in style and confidence and I will admit, she has shown off some seriously impressive looks. The Olivia Rubin dresses that seemed to b be a little bit garish for television have disappeared, replaced by block colours and elegant silhouettes. The block style platforms have gone, with fierce heels and stilettos taking their place.
For the official X Factor publicity shots, she looks amazing in skin-tight Herve Leger which shows off her wonderful figure whilst fitting like a second skin. And the hair is as immaculate and glossy as any of the hair extensions worn by a certain Ms Tweedy.
I also love that Tulisa is obeying the mantra ‘less is more’. When wearing a showstopping gown, the accessories are minimal, no fussy chains or earrings, just a great dress and fab pair of complimentary shoes.
And it’s not just on the X Factor that Tulisa is showing a wardrobe overall. Compare the outfit worn for the Glamour awards and Fashions Night Out to those worn by Tulisa in her blonde NDubz days, she doesn’t look like the same girl. I personally loved the Yong futuristic outfit she wore for Fashions Night Out, it was glamorous, yet young and the flash of toned midriff added to the sense of fun.
Get the Tulisa look.
I couldn’t believe this dress was from the slightly mumsy Per Una range from M&S. Gorgeous and very classy, it is great if you want to get Tulisa’s new glossy look. I also love this hot pink dress from Warehouse which also taps into the new, sophisticated side of Tulisa.
