Kate sparkles Like Mulled Wine at Sandringham
We have been hearing stories about Kate Middleton’s five outfits on Christmas Day, and at Sandringham Church we were treated to a good look at one of them. Kate chose a gorgeous berry shaded frock-coat that has been described as being designed by an independent British Designer, but which reminds me of a Katherine Hooker style that Kate has worn previously. Collarless and belted, this longer length coat looked supremely elegant when compared to the rather short styles some of the Royal ladies chose to wear to church. Now we’ve waved goodbye to the Christmas day for another year, many of us will be thinking of the New Year’s collections. It is always great when we start to see something new and exciting hitting the rails, a mixture of new shades and trends. An email from Peacocks hit the inbox this morning that gave me a peek at their new season collection, entitled Girl meets Boy. This is a collection filled with extremes, from androgynous shirts to pretty skater style dresses.
