nspa launches Beauty Rituals

March 12th, 2012

Last Wednesday I popped along to the plush surroundings of the Soho Hotel in London to find out about a brand new skincare range that is launching today. The range has been formulated by the brains behind the sumptuous Nirvana Spa, and is a complete four step programme that incorporates Cleanse, Tone, moisturise and treat. The great news about this range is that it will be available on the shelves at Asda, and that the cost will be between £3 – £7 making it a truly affordable luxury.

I was totally impressed by the range. Every base is covered and gives you products that you can use for a quick fix, or a longer pampering session. All products contain a mixture of high-end formulas that allow you to get the Spa facial treatment at home. The scent is also amazing as the products contain neroli, with each product having that same, clean smell.

Here is a quick run through of  some of the hero products from the range.

Step 1 – Cleanse

The Deep cleansing wash is a fast fix product. Quick and easy to use, it can remove the heaviest make-up and can be used in the shower. I’ve been using this each morning before the school run and have found that my skin feels clean and fresh.

The melting cleansing gel is a revelation. You rub this gorgeously scented gel into your face with a little bit of warm water and it turns into a cleansing milk. This again contains neroli, so it is perfect for all skin types.

The product that I think is the biggest bargain buy of the whole collection is the Revitalising vitamin toning mist. This is the bottle you need in your handbag, because you can spray this whenever your skin needs a pick me up. If you skin feels dry from air conditioning, or cold weather, you can spray this refreshing mist. Great because it can be sprayed over make-up to give you a dewy model look.

Step 2 – Tone

These products are great for combating the effects of dry skin. I loved the idea of the 5 minute mask that you could apply, brush your teeth, and then wash off, making it a practical, time-saving product. I have used 5 minute masks before, but have frankly paid a lot more than £6 for them! Another product destined to be a best seller is the amazing hot cloth cleanse and polish. This is perfect for helping to give your face a deep cleanse after a hard days work, helping to buff the skin and remove those dead cells.

Step 3 – Treat

This is, by far, the stage of a skincare regime that is often missed out. Everyone deserves a treat, and that includes a treat for the skin. This can be added into your weekly regime, or can just be used as a pick-me-up. The deep hydrating facial oil is perfect for using as an intensive treatment overnight. This oil contains avocado and Rosehip and just needs to be warmed slightly by the hands. The Illuminating Beauty Serum is also another treat that will instantly perk up the skin. I have been using this over my make-up to create luminosity – it gives the skin a wonderful shimmer.

Stage 4 – Moisturise

This is a truly affordable collection of products for moisturising the skin, both day and nighttime. The Brightening day cream contains SPF 15, but feels so light on the skin and is absorbed very quickly. The Night Repair cream contains all the ingredients needed to repair, from Vitamin E and Ginsing, and is a real nourishing treat. Both day and night cream cost just £6, a fabulous price that makes them affordable for all.

With many ladies thinking that expensive skin treatments are just luxuries they can no longer afford, this collection shows that good skincare need not cost the Earth.

The nspa collection is available exclusively at Asda stores nationwide from today.
