Spooky fashion treats for Halloween

October 16th, 2012

The witching hour is almost upon us. For me, nothing says that winter is almost here more than the arrival of Halloween. And whether you spend the spookiest night of the year in front of a cosy fire, take to the streets trick or treating, or rock the night away at a costume party, there is still something magical about the night when the witches, ghosts and goblins rule.

Fashion has always had an obsession with all that is dark and gothic. With the rise of the vampire franchise Twilight and television hits ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘True Blood’, it has never been a better time to embrace your inner vamp. And whether you do this through jewellery and accessories from the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Butler and Wilson and Lulu Guinness, or through vampishly slinky maxi dresses a la Morticia Adams and Angelina Jolie, adding a Halloween touch to your wardrobe is a smart move guarenteed to get you noticed.
