One of my favourite press days this season has to be the one held by Clarks. The shoe giants provided a masterclass in how to produce classic yet fashionable styles, in a sumptuous range of summer brights. In addition, they also gave us a fascinating history lesson by including vintage shoes from past Clarks collections alongside the newest range to show how designs from the archives continue to influence modern shoe styles.

And the influence was certainly there for all to see. From the metallic tipped stiletto slingbacks that screamed 1980s and Diana, Princess of Wales, whilst rainbow bright platform wedges were an eclectic look back to the 1970s. The soft grey suede court shoes with matching clutch bag were one of my favourite designs and bought to mind vintage Bally court shoes.

As a huge fan of the previous collaboration with Liberty, I was really hoping that this would be something that would be continued into the new season. (The scent bottles were just my favourite summer sandal). This time, the gorgeous Liberty prints have been merged with bold shades like purple to create another fabulous collection of vibrant summer styles.

Here are some more of the styles that I loved.

LOVE the pink, red & purple suede wedges. And the Bally-esque ones are divine.

Never used to like Clarks, but now I love them – they have seriously upped their game. The colours in these shoes are brilliant.
