Friday Fashion Stylish Celebs featuring Cheska Hull. Lydia Bright and Cheryl Cole

The weekend starts here, and that means some seriously hot looks to tempt you into spending some of that hard-earned cash. Our favourite reality tv stars have again been out and about sporting the best of the High Street and Online brands, with Lydia Bright a particular favourite in a Coast Limited Edition dress that is now available online. There are also a couple of designer copycats that could help you get the Cheryl Cole look without the Cheryl Cole budget. And finally, if you do win the euromillions on Friday eve (and somebody has to…) there is a beautiful Roksanda Ilincic dress as worn by Princess Beatrice, who seems to have moved a million miles away from that toilet seat hat she was ridiculed for at last year’s Royal wedding and is now showing some serious style chops.

But first up we have to have an Olympian. Victoria Pendleton did not strike it lucky yesterday, but is known as one of the most stylish Olympians. Last week she was featured in a Look magazine shoot and looked sensational in a pretty dotted crop top from Dahlia that is currently in the sale on their website.

Cheryl Cole has recently made a storming comeback looking better than ever.  In the Call My Name video she wore a whole series of eyecatching designer pieces, including this fab tropical print jacket. You can get a very similar look in this AX Paris blazer, which would look great with so many looks, tailored shorts, skinny jeans or even a pencil skirt.

Cheryl has also looked very retro in this early 1960s look that comes complete with beehive hair and a pencil skirt. You could get a really similar, Sophia Loren style look with these amazing pieces from Boohoo.com. I’m loving the leopard print killer heels that Marilyn Monroe herself would’ve loved.

The Coast flagship store in London has quickly attracted a celebrity following, with Louise Roe, Alesha Dixon and Melanie Sykes all wearing their exquisite statement dresses. Another celeb to patron the store is Lydia Bright, who looked prom style pretty in this classy black and white gown that is now available to buy online. I say buy this and wear it forever – it is such a classic look!

And in another part of London, the ever stylish Cheska Hull was again wearing a dress from one of her favourite online brands, Inlovewithfashion. This time it was a very fresh looking maxi dress in red and white that can currently be picked up for a bargain price of just £20. Just add some chunky chains like Cheska to make this your essential summer dress.

Now for a real touch of luxury, an ‘I LOVE THIS DRESS’ moment. When Princess Beatrice wore the Roksanda Ilincic Izumi dress I must admit I swooned. I loved this dress in the hot pink version, as worn by Ginnifer Goodwin and Coleen Rooney, but this version, in blush saphire is just stunning.

A round up of June’s most fashionable events.

June has seen many ultra fashionable events, but Fashion-Mommy has been enjoying herself in the sun, and so unable to write in detail about them all. But, fear not, here are a rundown of some of the most fabulous outfits from the most fabulous events.

Enjoy!

CDFA Awards

The Fashion Oscars never fails to impress with its fashion forward looks, as only to be expected on one of the industries most important nights. Here are my pick of the most stylish stars.

Jessica Alba shows Cheryl Cole exactly how to do colour blocking in Diane Von Furstenberg. Pregnant and absolutely glowing, she cleverly sticks to just two colours, rather than overdoing the paintbox shades.

She’s been a bit quiet lately, but Naomi Watts looks uncannily like Gwyneth Paltrow in this shimmering Calvin Klein dress. With her blonde hair and colouring, she looks like a goddess. Very, Very good!

Loving how Mary Kate and Ashley are becoming walking adverts for their fashion label ‘The Row’. Groomed and ultra stylish, I’m particularly loving those neat satchel style bags.

Wow! This lady had a baby six months ago and now looks like a modern-day super hero. I just love the ultra modern styling of Miranda Kerr’s Michael Kors dress. The black and gold shoes are pretty special too!

Marcia Cross looks absolutely amazing in this Pamella Roland jumpsuit.  I’m thinking Penelope Ann Miller in Carlito’s Way, and the violet shade is fabulous against that red hair. I LOVE THIS LOOK.

There’s something about this Atelier Swarovski jumpsuit worn by Karolina Kurkova that reminds me of Kylie Minogue in ‘I can’t get you out of my head’ video. It’s probably the hood. But on its own merits I’m loving that shade of green and the amazing red shoes too.

AMFAR Bash Paris

Two attendees stood out for me on the night. I adored the old Hollywood glamour of Dita Von Teese, a star who just seems to have walked through time from the 1940s, whilst Roisin Murphy also adopted a classic era film star look in black sequins.

Elton John’s White tie and Tiara Ball

Always a stylish summer event, with guests ranging from Beth Ditto to Sarah, Duchess of York. The best dressed guests were Alexa Chung,  in a dreamy vintage  polka dot dress, and India Hicks,  designer and former bridesmaid of Princess Diana, who wore a stunning Victoria Beckham dress. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie also looked fabulous in Elie Saab and Vivienne Westward respectively.

Glamour Awards

Naomie Harris looked sleek in Azzaro, whilst Dawn  French showed off her 5 stone weight loss in a pretty black kaftan, but Kim Kardashian was a stand out in slinky black Dolce and Gabbana. She looked glossy and groomed to perfection.

Critics choice TV awards

A daytime awards ceremony that most struggled to dress for. Cat Deeley looked ok, but that white Dolce and Gabbana look is now seriously overworked. The best dressed were award winner Christina Hendricks in a simple black dress, and Zooey Deschenel, who got the daytime  mix just right in her usual kooky style in an Andrew Gn dress and fantastic vintage style bag.

Kate dazzles at the Derby.

Be still my beating heart. The Duchess of Cambridge made an appearance at the Epsom Derby today, and to say she looked good would be the understatement of the year. She looked absolutely dazzling!

The jury is still out on the designer of her immaculate chic outfit, and whether it was a designer number or a High Street find (the jacket may be from Joseph), but what I do know is that the off-white dress and jacket looked absolutely amazing against her Seychelles suntan. Teamed with classic nude accessories, including a tiny clutch bag, and a gloriously neat  1930s style fascinator, this was a super-stylish choice and one of my favourite Kate looks ever.

What really caught my eye today was Kate’s neat chignon hairstyle. Teamed with the little hat, I  couldn’t help thinking that Kate was echoing the style of royal style icons of the past, Princess Marina and the Duchess of Windsor. They both wore these sorts of hats in the 1930s. Take a look at the pictures below.

Kate was not the only Royal making a stylish splash at Epsom today. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie looked pretty and frothy in summery outfits a far cry from Those Royal wedding outfits. I particularly loved Beatrice’s hat!

Whilst Kate was wooing  the crowds with her impeccable style and beauty, the other Middleton beauty for once looked less than fragrant. Pippa was taking part in the Blenheim Triathlon which she completed in just over 25 minutes. The only fashion news of note being her Bulgari sunglasses.
