Why age no longer defines fashion.
I have the same New Look dress as Rochelle from The Saturdays. Rochelle is in her early twenties, I am in my mid 30’s. Which begs the question – am I too old for this dress, or is the dress too old for Rochelle? The answer, happily, is no on both counts. Fabulous Fashion- A review of October.
October has been another wonderful month for fashion. We’ve seen the return of the X Factor, bringing high fashion and couture into our homes every Saturday night. The curves debate had continued, with Look magazine at the forefront of embracing real models, using Crystal Renn has their lead model in the High Street fashion show, whilst Jean Paul Gaultier had Beth Ditto both opening and closing his Paris shows with a glass of champagne in her hand. White Stuff launch – follow that bus!
Those lovely people at WHITE STUFF are getting very excited about the big Birmingham launch this friday (29th October) and have sent me a picture of the special white routefinder bus. Fashion Mommy at the BBC
Fashion-mommy had a small taste of stardom today when she was featured on the ‘Mornings with Joanne Malin‘ show on BBC Radio WM. This was during the style guide ‘Sex in the 2nd City’ slot. It was frankly one of the most exhilarating and nerve-wracking experiences of my whole life…and I would do it again like a shot! The day didn’t bode well. Baba and I had slept at nanny and grandad’s house the night before so that Auntie Jodie could be babasitter extraordinaire whilst mommy talked fashion on the airwaves.
