A guide to European Food Festivals
Following on from my post last week looking at my favourite food places in Dubai (you can check out that post here) I have been sent a great infographic produced by Money transfer experts CurrencyFair which is looking at the food of Europe in relation to national dishes, street food and their pick of the continent’s top restaurants.
The infographic has taken every European country, from Albania to the United Kingdom, and then gives information that relates to food. This includes what you can expect to pay, per head, in restaurants, and what you can expect to pay in the chosen, highlighted restaurant (for the UK the suggestion is the rather weird and wonderful Dinner by Heston Blumenthal which is sure to divide opinions!). The main selling point of this infographic, and the reason why it is well worth bookmarking for foodies, is that it also gives information, including dates for next year, of all the main food festivals that take place across Europe, from Taste of London in the UK, to Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany and Wine, Food and Good Living in Helsinki. There are literally hundreds of food festivals taking place across Europe, and this guide will help gourmets enjoy the best dishes that Europe has to offer.
Have you ever been to a food festival in the UK or Europe?
