Billboard Awards 2019 – Best Looks
Last night saw the 2019 Billboard Awards taking place, with the usual array of the stylish and not so stylish on the red carpet.
Stars such as Taylor Swift, Cardi B, Eva Longoria, Game of Thrones Sophie Turner and Olivia Wilde all walked the red carpet, but most of the headlines were taken up with Sophie Turner and her beau, Joe Jonas, who followed up the awards by getting married in Las Vegas in a ceremony that took everyone by surprise.
In terms of fashion I often find music awards to be very hit and miss, with many looks purely out to grab headlines, and others that would give tackiness a bad name. So this selection is really the best of a bad bunch. Sophie Turner looked cool and impeccable, very on trend in her printed suit that avoided flashing the flesh and still looked incredible. I did love Eva Longoria’s take on the little black dress, but could’ve done without the knicker flash. Priya Chopankra looked stunning in a 1970s style bugle beaded gown with a plunging neckline, whilst Taylor Swift showcased those formidable legs in a lilac mini dress that had interesting frill details.
All in all, not a vintage night for fashion, but still one that was worth a look.

Priyanka Chopra took the meaning of looking a million dollars quite literally perhaps!?! Sophie Turner could wear a plastic bag and still look amazing, but tbh, I didn’t particularly like her outfit.

I like Priyanka’s dress. The others were interesting for me — Eva’s dress was a smidge too short! I do agree with you that music show fashions often leave something to be desired.
Now I feel old because I didn’t recognize most of the people above — ha ha!

Yeah, I don’t think it’s pretty when it’s too too short. Who wants to see someone else’s knickers? That would have been a really beautiful look if it had been a bit longer.

Those are some pretty fun and unique looks. I agree the fan dress on Kim Kardashian does have a unique style. And Sophie Turner is in quite a unique ensemble as well. Such eye-popping color there. My daughter would love it.
