Boden Spring/Summer 2013 – So 60s inspired.

Filled with bright colours, groovy prints and gorgeous fabrics, the Boden Spring/Summer press day held at Somerset House last week was a full on tribute to the decade known as the Swinging sixties. Collections called ‘Colour block’, ‘Sixties Collection’, ‘Texture and Shine’, and ‘Spots and Stripes’ sum up everything that I already love about Boden – great quality pieces that are beautifully cut, use quality fabrics and fully understand how to utilise print. Add to the mix a heavenly collection of patent shoes in zingy shades and you have your Spring/Summer wardrobe well and truly sorted.

There is just so much to love in this collection. The pastel patent shoes alone are just adorable – I want a pair in every colour and every style! The range of accessories include colour clash totes and satchels that will be perfect for both work, and holiday season. And then there are the dresses, 1960s Lily Pulitzer and Pucci style prints mixed in with colour block Jackie Kennedy style shifts that are both elegant and fun.
