Celebrity sandal style with Brantano

The opportunity to wear sandals for every single occasion is definitely one of my favourite things about Summer. There are just so many gorgeous styles out there, and after a Winter, and Spring of being bundled up in thick socks and boots, my feet totally appreciate the feeling of freedom that wearing sandals brings.

When it comes to sandals, my feet are firmly planted in the flat camp. I do have a pair of 70s style Clarks wedges which I love with a passion, but, in general, I live in flats – Havaianas, Ipanema and pretty jeweled styles that can be teamed with a dress or jumpsuit for an evening out. I never pack any heels for my Summer holidays, often finding resorts full of uneven. cobbled pavements which are frankly a graveyard for vertiginous heels, so I just pack glittery sandals and give my feet a break, these can work for most events, including beachside casinos where you can enjoy a no deposit bonus and enjoy a flutter.
