Disney on Ice is returning to Birmingham

The latest show from Disney on Ice will be arriving at the Birmingham NIA very soon. The latest show is entitled ‘Disney on Ice Celebrates 100 years of Magic’, and as ever, it promises to be a show that is just full of fun and magic, with fabulous displays of skating, gorgeous costumes and those wonderful Disney songs filling the arena.

This time, the segments will be made up of scenes and stories from such Disney favourites as Mulan, The Lion King and Pinocchio, along with the more recent Disney Pixar Classics The Incredibles, Finding Nemo and Toy Story. As ever, the show will be interlocked together by the much loved Mickey Mouse, with Minne and friends along for the ride.

There are show stopping scenes we are advised to look out for. These include a giant present that reveals Buzz Lightyear, and his first meeting with Woody, Jessie and all his Toy Story friends. Minnie Mouse will impress fashionista’s young and old when she reveals a red sequined dress that is truly red carpet worthy, whilst there are also scenes of snow and an avalanche as Mulan battles against the Hun.

evt_610400__incrediblesrgbI love the Disney on Ice shows, I think  they are fabulous entertainment for the whole family. (We take a 5 year old, and my 10 year old niece, and both of them are absolutely enthralled with everything from the set-pieces to the costume and set design.) If you are looking for a real family treat, then a Disney on Ice show will certainly not disappoint.
