Dorothy Perkins press day – All about brights!

Forget colour clashing – Autumn/Winter at Dorothy Perkins is all about colour blocking! Bright’s of every shade imaginable will be available in a range of styles that pay tribute to many different eras. From the tangerine orange to Mustard yellow via Pillar box red, from 1960s style tuxedos to dalmatian print faux furs, there is a style to suit everyone in the new collection.

The mismatch of eras and colours is great news. Sometimes the colour deigned to be ‘so this season’ just doesn’t suit you. Dorothy Perkins are ensuring there is something to suit everyone. As well as the aforementioned colours, there were fabulous outfits in white, pinks,  greens and blues. Styles were equally eclectic. There were 1920s Art Deco inspired pieces, a wide range of floaty wide leg catsuits that could’ve been from the 1930s or the 1970s. An all white outfit could’ve come from a shop on Carnaby Street circa 1967.  Pleats were on everything, from maxi dresses and wide leg trousers, to skirts of every length. Leather was also a big story.

The range of accessories were totally fabulous, with cute clutch bags and pretty polka-dotted and floral printed heels a standout.

I really loved the coral party dress pictured below. This is a fabulous princess piece that would look great with some gold skyscraper heels for any evening occasion.
