Once again the year is flying by, and this time next week it will be Good Friday. Yes, Easter is almost here.
Easter is one of my favourite times of year, I go away to Wales for a week of fresh air and relaxation, and also get to eat lots of chocolate without feeling the need to apologise for it (an egg at breakfast? Only if it is a chocolate egg.) But if you are looking for some gift ideas that do not involve eggs, then step this way and look at some of the ideas below.
Fuzzikins Bedtime Bunnies
Not only are the Fuzzikins Bedtime Bunnies super cute, but they will also give your little one something to do over the Easter holidays. The set comes with three bunnies for you to customise, along with materials to make their sleeping bags. The great thing is that they are reusable as the felt tip pens that come with the bunnies are washable, so you can create your design and then wash it off and do anyone one and have the fun all over again.
The set, with three bunnies of different sizes, costs less than £10 and could be a lovely choice when your children have chocolate egg overload.
Honeycomb bites and bars from Mighty Fine
Easter has to involve a little bit of sweet stuff, so something from the Mighty Fine range could well fit the bill. Made from natural ingredients (including British Bee honey), Mighty Fine Honeycomb bites and bars are also vegetarian and gluten-free.
The Mighty Fine treats come in a bar form, or as bite sized chunk, and is honeycomb that has been covered with either milk or dark chocolate, or with salted caramel (my personal fave). Each piece is handmade and then dipped in Belgian chocolate.
You can find more information and stockists here.
Bobux’s bunny Soft Sole shoes
And what about if you’re too young to enjoy chocolate anyway? If you are looking for an Easter gift for a baby, then you must check out the totally adorable bunny soft sole shoes from Bobux. These are just beautiful, coming in soft leather, with an applique bunny on the front.
These are a beautifully made first shoe, with a non slip suede sole that allows your child to crawl and explore safely without fear of slipping over. The elasticated ankle ensures that the shoes fit snugly and will not slip off.
The shoes cost £22 and are available at Bobux.

Another idea for a gift for a new baby is one that the parent’s will also really appreciate, The Cottontouch gift set from Johnson’s Baby contains a range of products blended with real cotton, and specially designed for newborn sensitive skin. It gently cleanses, moisturises and protects delicate skin from day one.

Haribo – Chick ‘n’ Mix and Bunny ‘n’ Friends
Haribo are the king of sweets, and this years Easter offering are sure to please fans of the brand because the packaging is just gorgeous.
The Chick ‘n’ Mix and Bunny ‘n’ Friends have all your rabbit, chick and lamb shaped jelly sweets that are just perfect for those with a sweet tooth, the Chick ‘n’ Mix also contains mini marshmallows and my personal faves, the Starmix egg. They come in super cute packaging and offer an alternative to chocolate Eggs.

Andrew James Infusion Teapot
Easter is the perfect time to put your feet up and enjoy a lovely cup of tea and a slice of cake (I’ve come over a bit Worzel Gummidge there, apologies.) For me, the best cup of tea is made with real tea, none of this teabag rubbish, so the infusion teapot from Andrew James is both a lovely, and practical gift idea.
This is an attractive stainless steel and glass teapot which has a removable infusion option, which means you can either use your loose leaf tea, or a normal teabag if you prefer. It has a mesh core, so you don’t need a tea strainer, and can hold up to five cups.
The Infusion teapot is currently available for just £9.99, a saving of £4 on its rrp. You can find it here.
