Focus – Latest Fashion Apps

One of the greatest things about the rise of iphone and Android phones are the number of applications that you can now buy, and download to your phone. Apps for shopping, fashion advice, help to put outfits together are all now available at the touch of your fingertips. With the iphone 5 now fully established, and with the new Blackberry Z10 now available (check out the amazing white version at phones4u – it is so sleek and gorgeous – almost a fashion accessory in itself!) there have never been so many great options for keeping in touch with your fashion whilst on the go.

Here are some of my favourite apps of the moment.

Grazia for Iphone

The iGrazia app allows you to shop pages from the magazine instantly. This means you can grab gorgeous pieces from ‘The Fashion Charts’ by Carven, Hermes and J Crew instantly. Currently the app seems to be restricted to foreign editions, or the UK edition on the iPad, but the Italian edition is so in-depth, I really hope it is soon launched here.

My Wardrobe App

This is a great app that allows you to organise and catalogue your wardrobe. You can mange your wardrobe by taking pictures of your top outfits, storing them as a sort of memoir mode to help you find a great outfit from your wardrobe without searching for it. You can also keep a sort of style diary that stops you repeating the same outfit to the same event. This is a really cool little organisational tool. (Find out more here.)

Vogue Daily News

The mother of all fashion magazines has a fabulous, up-to-the-minute style app which allows you to access all the latest and breaking style news, trend reports, What I wore today features and so much more. The great thing about this app is that it is available to download for free on iPhone and Blackberry from the iTunes store and Blackberry App World. 

I can’t think of anything better than Vogue for free!
