Group Excursions From Hurghada

New year equals new plans, and amongst those plans there must be thoughts of a Summer (or even Spring) holiday. Many of us turn our thoughts to getting some sunshine once Christmas is out the way, particularly with the prospect of cold January and February weather to endure. Planning a holiday and having something to look forward to is definitely one way to make the Winter seem more palatable, and maybe even get it to go a little quicker, and, lets face it, the world is your oyster when it comes to travel.

Last month I talked about holidays in Egypt, and the idea of using beautiful Hurghada as a base from which to explore some of the most iconic sites that Egypt has to offer. In this post I’m going to take this a little further, and take a look at why you should take a trip to Luxor.

Group Excursions from Hurghada

One of the best, and cheapest ways to see some of the sites of Egypt is with a group excursion.  Landious Travel offer a whole range of group excursions that include both land and sea travel. These trips encompass city tours, entertainment stopovers, site seeing trips and even exciting safari trips where you might enjoy a trip across the desert by camel. Group excursions are a great way of seeing some of a new country in the most affordable way. They provide the cheapest solution for tourists who want to spend less on different activities in order to fit more in. They are also brilliant if you are travelling alone and would like to meet new people, or are travelling with your family or a larger group, so require more seats than a minibus would be able to accommodate.

Tourists can join the group excursion from different areas and hotels in Hurghada and neighbouring resorts, and this makes them a practical choice that is accessible, and affordable, to most travellers.
Luxor and the Valley of the Kings
If you are travelling to Egypt, then a visit to Luxor, and to the Valley of the Kings, is one not to be missed. The whole site was deemed a Unesco World Heritage site in 1979 and is one of the most famous and explored archaeological sites in the world. The great news is that this can be enjoyed in a day trip that takes in all this areas sites in one visit. This includes the mesmerising Karnak Temple in eastern Luxor and the temple of Amenhotep III and the Colossi of Memnon  in the western part of Luxor with its thousands of years of historyThe you can move onto a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where three tombs of the Ancient Kings of Egypt will be seen. Finally, you must see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

A good trip will provide food as well as your travel, and for Landious Travel, this is at a restaurant on the banks of the River Nile, bringing on some amazing Agatha Christie vibes.

Definitely worth a visit, this is an experience of a lifetime.
