Without doubt, one of my favourite nights of the year is Halloween. A little bit of spooky fun in the middle of Autumn, Halloween allows us all to embrace everything that is dark, gothic and just that little bit frightening. Whether you are planning to take the little ones ‘trick or treating’, are holding your very own Halloween party, or if you’re just enjoying a cosy night in front of the fire, a little bit of spectral magic is definitely worth adding to your wardrobe.
But mention Halloween clothing to most women and you will get serious shudders (read this fab piece from the lovely Kelly aka Big Fashionista to see what the general problem is). Halloween has become associated with a particular nasty brand of shop -tat that is a combination of too short, too skimpy and far to tacky to even acknowledge, let alone wear. But it really doesn’t have to be this way.
New Look have some fantastic pieces perfect for All Hallows Eve. From cute and cuddly ghost jumpers, to full-blown Morticia Adams lace elegance, you can choose your Halloween look, and then wear it again, and again, long after the spooks have disappeared for another year.
