It’s Christmas Jumper Day this Friday

I have a confession to make, this year is the first year that I have ever been tempted to wear a Christmas jumper. In the past I have always thought they were for someone else, I loved them on my sister. who always looks super cute in them. My good friend Emily-Jayne totally rocks a Christmas jumper, and my little boy Joe just looks adorable in them. But me, a total no-no. That is, until last Friday…

I had chosen a really cute design from Tipsy Elves, of a lovestruck Christmas Yeti with a sprig of mistletoe, ready to move in for the kill. This must be the jumper I’ve been waiting for, because after never being able to pull off a Christmas jumper, I must admit to totally loving this one. And so I guess, when it comes to wearing a Christmas jumper, it’s all about finding the right one for you – because there is a jumper for everyone.

This Friday (12th December) is designated Christmas Jumper day for Save the Children Fund. The idea is very simple, you wear your fave festive jumper and make a donation to Save the Children therefore ‘spreading the Jumper Joy. The money saving website has created a fabulous Christmas jumper Finder that has selected all the key picks in the way of Christmas jumpers from all over the High Street, including a great selection from George at Asda, who are one of the main partners for this year’s Christmas jumper Day.

It would be great if everyone, whatever their sex or age, or job, could make this Friday a brigher day by donning their brightest, cutest, funniest Christmas jumpers. And remember, the government will match every donation pound for pound so let’s see if this year’s total can be the biggest ever.
