Kate crashes the Reiss website…will Pippa do the same for Zara?

Just 24 hours after ago Duchess Kate the Great sent the Reiss website in meltdown, due to the demand for the fabulous Shola dress she wore when she met the Obamas (36 hours on the site is still experiencing difficulties!) Now it is time for the Pippa effect to kick in. The gorgeous Pippa Middleton, currently the No1 most searched for celebrity on the internet, was photographed out and about in London today. She was sporting a great dress from Zara.

The dress, currently available on the Zara website, is a great Summer casual look. Giving the impression of a t-shirt and mini skirt, this two-tone dress looked great on the effortlessly stylish Pippa. She teamed it with wedges, which I believe to be LK Bennett slingbacks (I think I have the same pair!) which matched nicely with the white of the top.

This is not the first time Pippa has been pictured wearing the Spanish label. The smart blue blazer which she wore as she left the Goring Hotel after the wedding was from Zara. Big sister Kate is also a fan, most famously wearing a Grecian style blue Zara dress when she left Buckingham Palace to start her married life. That dress, of course, was a huge sell-out.

The Middleton girls are fantastic ambassadors for High Street shopping.  I am beginning to think  that David Cameron should’ve appointed Pippa Middleton, rather than Mary Portas to save the British High Street.
