Lemon Superfood All-In-One Rescue Butter From Dr Botanicals

I love a beauty product that can multi task. A product that comes in a handy tube that fits easily into your handbag and can be used on chapped lips, dry skin, cracked heels, as a moisturiser if you’ve been out in the sun, can, quite frankly be a life saver that can literally be used for anything. And then we come to the Rescue Butter. As someone who suffers from both sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts and redness, and also lots of patches of dryness, I am  always interested in products that will not irritate my skin, will nourish it, and will also address those problems. This does all of this in spades. First it smells incredible, a real zesty lemon that is fresh and invigorating.

The cream is quite thick, but does sink into the skin very quickly and instantly softens the surface. It is non greasy which means you can apply this through the day, rather than just having to wait until bedtime, and this makes it great for using as a handcream as well. The product comes in a 50ml tube, but a little goes a long way so you can use this sparingly, although I love to put a thicker layer on at bedtime for a real nourishing mask effect.

The scent, as I have mentioned, is lovely and lingering due to the use of lemongrass oil and coconut oil, which makes this seem like a real indulgent treat for the skin.
