When Sunglasses Shop asked if I would like to review a pair of sunglasses, I’m afraid I turned into a very clichéd blogger and headed straight for the Michael Kors Collection, and chose a pair of retro inspired glasses I had my eye on for a very long time.

The Michael Kors Violet glasses have retro glamour written all over them. Fabulously oversized, these glasses look like they were first worn by Sofia Loren, or Audrey Hepburn, or even Jackie O, in those heady days of the swinging sixties. With a tortoiseshell frame, and the iconic Michael Kors Logo on the arms, these glasses are just gorgeous! I have to say I loved them the minute I took them out of the box.

The glasses come in a great protective case which will fit neatly into most bags. This stops the lens from getting scratched and damaged. There is also a cloth to clean the lenses with.  The glasses themselves are fabulous. Not only do they look grown up and glam, but they are really comfortable to wear, even for longer periods of time. We have had some beautiful weather so these have really had a test drive, and they have been very easy to wear, comfortable both on the bridge of the nose, and the sides of the nose where glasses can sometimes rub.
