Loving the Pretty Ballerinas at Spartoo

Everyone knows that a pair of Ballerina flats are a wardrobe essential. Even people like me, who would love to spend their whole life wearing heels, always keep some pretty ballet flats in my bag, for when the feet have taken too much of a pounding, and need a little TLC. The great thing is that, in recent years, the ballerina flat shoe has become an iconic item, worn with style and panache by the likes of Kate Middleton, Kate Moss and Alexa Chung.  And for many people, the iconic name in Ballerina flats is the brand Pretty Ballerinas.

I love the heritage of Pretty ballerinas. I visited Menorca, where the shoes are made, last year, and could see the history and tradition of the wonderful shoes that are still handmade on the island. Using the best leather, ethically sourced on the Island, the shoes both look beautiful, and last for a long, long, time.

This season Spartoo, one of my favourite destinations for all types of great shoes, has a fabulous range of Pretty Ballerinas available, in a sea of wonderful colours and patterns. I love the Klee Brown flats, with the traditional rope bow on the front and the patent style, whilst the Tapeto shoes are pretty enough to be an evening shoe, proving that the days of flat shoes just being daytime attire have long since disappeared.

Some of my favourite Pretty Ballerinas.
