Mid Century Muse at Dorothy Perkins

In amongst the sea of sales we are currently drowning in, there are still some fab new collections hitting stores at the present time. One of the nicest (in my humble opinion) is the Mid Century Muse collection from Dorothy Perkins.

Taking inspiration from the 1950s and 60s (hence the rather lovely name), the Mid Century Muse range harks back to more ladylike times, when we took our style cues from the likes of Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, The Queen and Jackie Kennedy. Think full skirts, floral prints, t-bar court shoes and lots of lace. But this is a new collection, so it is starting to look towards Autumn, and the colours we will be wearing next season. So the pretty pastel shades are giving way to deeper shades of pink, plum and purple, although there are still hints of blush, pale blue and rose to add a little summer balance.

I think this whole collection is just gorgeous – I would buy the whole lot if this was possible (dream, dream!). What are your thoughts?
