M&S partywear – inspired by those fairies!

One of my favourite of all the Christmas adverts this year is the M&S one entitled ‘Follow the Fairies.’ It was a campaign that had a rather clever build up on Twitter, and it proved to be one of the prettiest, frothiest, girlie adverts of all this Christmas. John Lewis may be cuter, Sainsbury’s is certainly more poignant, but M&S have just piled on the glamour.

The party collection from M&S is equal to the ad campaign in terms of glitz, glamour and downright decadence. It is simply gorgeous, and brimming with beautiful items that I would just LOVE to have in my wardrobe this season. The dresses are varied in design and have a style to suit every taste, including dresses with sleeves. I love the skirts – there are pencil styles with sequins, and lots of brocade 1950s styles that are simply elegance personified.
