New Designs From Shesaidyes

Shesaidyes is well known for its fine jewellery, particularly its range of engagement, eternity and wedding rings, but there is so much more to the brand than just occasion jewellery. This season, as well as the Shesaidyes collection, there are two beautiful ranges that have been inspired by the celestial world, and the artwork of one of the greatest artists of all time, Vincent Van Gogh.

Starry Night

A few years ago I was lucky enough to be able to see the Van Gogh Alive immersive exhibition, and the undoubted star of that exhibition was The Starry Night. The beautiful painting was produced at a terrible time in Van Gogh’s life, when he was a patient at Saint-Paul asylum in Saint-Rémy in southern France, it has been described as almost a dream interpretation of that view from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The resulting painting is incredibly lovely, the swirling blue of the sky and the yellow of the moon reflected against the black buildings.

This exquisite, iconic art work is the inspiration for the Starry Night collection. Shesaidyes explains the collection:-

I love this collection. The mixture of white gold, of the different shades of sapphire blue and aquamarine in the gemstones, and of the yellow gemstone to reflect the moon and stars is just incredible, and really evokes images of the original painting.

The Astra Planeta Collection

Another collection with links to the night sky is the Astra Planeta collection. Shesaidyes says this of the collection:-
