November Outfits Post #WIWT
November is always a busy month, because it is when the road to Christmas really begins. So this month has been filled with really lovely events, shows and parties which has been a great excuse to get into my second wardrobe. This is one that lives in my son’s room and contains my party wear, the clothes covered in sequins, sparkle and glitter. Because, if you can’t sparkle at this time of year, I’m really not sure when you can.
As ever, I have tried to link to pieces that are in shops now, or have featured alternatives in similar styles, cuts and colours. My second wardrobe is one that I dip into every year, so many of the pieces are season’s old, but prove that when you buy classics, you can wear them year in, year out, without ever really falling out of fashion. A case in point is my Gudrun Sjoden red velour dress that I first wore last year. I wore it for a trip to the theatre and had so many comments and lovely remarks on my Instagram feed. The green sequin skirt I wore for the grotto at House of Fraser was first worn on Christmas Day 2014, and made another appearance, although it is now too big so I have to wear a safety pin on the waist to keep it from falling down!
Now we are into December I am really giving that sparkle an airing, and will look forward to sharing the December #WIWT post in the New Year. But, for now, I would love to know what outfits you are wearing and loving as we head towards Christmas.

You look smashing in your red velour dress! Isn’t it fun to be able to get out the sparkly, glittery clothes and give them a wear again? Such a great time of year.

I am definitely doing something wrong, you have a wardrobe in your sons room with sparkly clothes, whereas the children have a wardrobe in my room with their school uniform! I need to invest in some more clothes, seeing all of your outfits for the theatre, I feel slightly underdressed when I attend, this shall be my new years resolution, buy myself some new clothes x
