Beautiful, with a fantastic slim figure and a pert bottom that’s fast gaining its own following on Twitter and Facebook, the perfect Pippa Middleton’s Royal wedding dress style has highlighted her as a fashionista to watch.
Dressed in her amazing Sarah Burton designed gown. Pippa was, quite simply, the most stylish royal bridesmaid of all time. Resembling a 1930s bias cut gown worn by screen idols like Myrna Loy and Constance Bennett, the short-sleeved dress, with its draped cowl neckline and pretty row of buttons that ran down an elegant back, fitted Pippa like a glove, making her look stunningly beautiful and sophisticated. No wonder Prince Harry was so taken with her, telling her she looked ‘Very beautiful today, seriously…’
This was a truly sensational and modern bridesmaid/maid of honour dress. It was streamlined, no excessive frills, bows, fussiness or hooped skirts. Fashion experts are already predicting that future brides may opt for this style for themselves, not just for their lucky bridesmaids. Minimal, in a heavy, ivory satin based crepe, worn with simple earrings made from pearls and diamonds and pretty floral accompaniments in the hair, this look was all about the sheer beauty of the dress…and the girl wearing it…
Like her big sister, Pippa changed her dress for the evening reception…and cleared up the Alice Temperley mystery regarding her visit earlier in the month. Pippa looked totally amazing in a jade green satin full length gown by Alice Temperley. This beautiful dress was teamed with a jewelled clutch bag and minimal jewellery.
Even the following morning, after a night of partying that didn’t end until after 3.00am. Pippa still looked smart and fresh as she left the Goring Hotel. Clearly, one to watch..,
Since I originally wrote this post, copies of Pippa’s bridesmaid dress and evening dresses have hit the rails. Debenhams saw queues when their version was launched, whilst Esprit will be launching an amazing black version very soon. And now Peacocks have launched their own gold version in time for Christmas.
