Pippa Middleton Gets Married
She became world famous at her big sister’s wedding, but today Pippa Middleton showed that she could be an incredibly beautiful bride in her own right when she married James Matthews in a lovely ceremony in St Mark’s Church in Englefield.
Wearing a stunning lace gown, which reputedly cost £40,000 and was designed by Giles Deacon, Pippa looked radiant, and, in a reverse of the royal wedding, she was looked after by big sister Kate, who shepherded the little bridesmaids and paige boys, which included Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Pippa rose to prominence as the perfect maid of honour at the royal wedding of William and Kate, and has proved to be something of a style icon since, always managing to look chic at a range of occasions. Her wedding dress was beautiful and elegant, with a full skirt, high neckline and lattice style lace work. Her chic updo also added to the effortless beauty of the whole look.
