Pippa’s Stylish September continues.

The wardrobe must be never-ending, an Aladdin’s closet of super looks. And I don’t mind admitting that it is a never-ending source of fascination to me. Pippa Middleton must plan her outfits down to the last detail, no-one can look that great every day without some serious effort. Here are some of her great looks from the past week, which, you’ve guessed it, includes yet another wedding!

Black-Studded-Stardust1 £270

Block colours, booties and a seriously hot studded bag all added up to a fabulous look this week. I love the teal shade to this shift dress, and I also think her hair looked super sleek in a ‘show’ ponytail. The boots and studded bag make this a slightly edgier look than the usual ballet flats she has been sporting in the last few weeks. The bag is from one of my favourite designers, Tabitha.

The Tabitha Stardust bag got another outing when it was paired with her cute Maje shorts earlier in the week. Red pumps also looked great, but I  think this look would have benefitted from another sleek ponytail.

Pippa in Nebraska jeans

One of the big questions of the Pippa week was ‘where did she get those unusual skinnies with the criss-cross patterns on the knees?’ Well, the answer is these are the Nebraska stretch  skinny jeans from French Connection, available now in all sizes for £72. This was a very dressed down look for Pippa, and I really liked her checked shirt – I think this is perfect Autumn wear. The only  downside was a carrier bag she was seen carrying later  in the day that indicated Pippa may have visited the real  fur company. I really hope that if Pippa choses to wear fur, she decides to fake it.

H&M lace dress £24.99

After the success of last weeks white  ‘birthday dress’ version, Pippa opted for a stunning daytime look with the black version of the H&M 1960s shift dress. This is a very sexy look for daytime, but with fab, toned legs, it’s one she is able to pull off easily. And remember, this dress is less than £30!

And so to Pippa’s most controversial outfit of the week. And like last week, when her wedding outfit was criticised as being ‘frumpy’, this look has met with quite a bit of derision. The dress in question was a green silk teadress which she wore with heels and a black fascinator. The main problem with the dress is that green is considered an unlucky colour for weddings (surely an old wives tale…do we still listen to them?). I think the dress tapped into the trend for all things 1940s, but may have benefitted from being a tad shorter, maybe knee-length. But on the whole, this is a stylish look, another Pippa pass.
