Regatta has Spring downpours covered
I have a little boy. He’s a lovely 6 year old who has only one failing in my eyes, he quite literally wants to spend every minute of every day outside – whatever the weather. In Winter, I can often persuade him that maybe it is a little too cold to be outside for so long, but once Spring comes I have no chance of keeping him in – even if the rain decides to pay a visit. Fortunately, Regatta have created the perfect rain jacket that means he can play and still keep relatively dry.
The Boys printed pack-it-in jacket is a cute little waterproof jacket that is a spring essential for any little action hero. One of the most fabulous things about it is that it comes, folded up, in it’s own small bag. This means it is ideal to fit into school bags on those warm days when rain is threatened, or to take on school trips or outings. It will fit into mom’s bag without taking up any room whatsoever and is extremely lightweight too.
The jacket is made from waterproof and wind resistant Isolite fabric with taped seams and has elasticated cuffs to stop water sneaking in. It is obviously great for keeping the rain off clothing, but another plus point is that it is cool to wear – some rain-wear can also make the child hot and sweaty when they are running around, the Regatta pack it in jacket doesn’t do that – it is breathable and comfortable to wear. And when you add in the fact that the print is FOOTBALL, you might just have created the perfect jacket for Spring and Summer.
The jacket is currently part of a 20% off promotion which means you can get it for a rather good £20. It comes in the red that Joe is wearing, and also in blue – allowing you to keep Manchester United and City fans happy (or Liverpool/Everton maybe?), and with the wipe clean fabric, this is just a great addition to your child’s wardrobe.
Look out for some more Regatta reviews in the coming weeks.
*I was sent the jacket from Regatta for the purpose of a honest review.

He’s such a cutie! I’m all for carrying a waterproof in my bag. That way the weather doesn’t stop me from doing anything.

Awww your son is too adorable. Quite the poser, if I do say so myself, haha. Do Regatta make adult versions of these, I’d love to buy these as I shall be festival-hopping a lot this summer.
