What exactly can a fashionista buy for £1 these days? A loaf of bread? A bottle of milk? You can’t exactly get a lot for your shiny £1 coin, can you?
Well, actually, on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of September, the disabled children’s charity NEWLIFE is going to prove that you can actually get lots of glamorous fashion items for your £1, and help raise money for a most worthwhile charity at the same time.
HOW? I hear you ask.
Newlife are hosting a special, one-off, £1 sale day at their temporary warehouse in Bridgtown, Cannock, between 10am and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Every item on sale during the trading hours will cost just £1. Everyone is catered for, there are jeans, mens trousers, mens jackets, ladies clothing, underwear, childrenswear and a whole range of accessories on offer for you £1 coin. The items have been donated by top, high-end High Street names in order to raise funds for essential equipment and research into children’s disabilities.
But that’s not all. A number of High Street retailers have donated thousands of pairs of jeans. In recognition of this, the first 100 lucky customers through the warehouse doors will receive a pair of jeans absolutely free!
The fabulous £1 sale has received celebrity endorsement from the lovely Emily Head. She plays Carli
D’Amato in the smash hit Channel 4 comedy ‘The Inbetweeners‘ and has visited the NEWLIFE superstore in Cannock to show support for the charity. Her, father, actor Anthony Head, star of those classically stylish Gold Blend ads has also added his support.
So, fashionistas and bargainistas alike, put the date, time and place in your diary – Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th September 2010, 10am-4pm at the Newlife temporary Warehouse, Online business Park, Watling Street, Bridgtown, Cannock, WS11 0LR.
Fashion-mommy will see you in the queue…
