The finishing touch of adding the houseplants finishes the look nicely. It is important to note that for a finish of this standard, consistency across your decorating is key. This extension is furnished with thin metal furnishings, for example the stools and the wall storage, creating a cohesive look. The dark colouring of the kitchen fittings contrasts against the pale pink of the seating, with the gold touches making the kitchen feel elegant and royal. By having lots of natural light flooding in through the skylights on this side return extension, the dark colours are kept bright and vibrant. If you do not have much natural light in your kitchen, you can add brightness from spotlights or droplights, which can direct light to important areas in the kitchen.
