A few holiday Essentials
As we reach February, our thoughts are finally turning to Summer days. Many of us have already booked our Summer holidays and are starting to list what we need. Holiday season is just around the corner, and with half term this week, people have already started jetting off to enjoy some much needed sunshine. But it is no secret that holidays, as well as being a time for fun, relaxation and excitement, are also a time that can prove to be very expensive. Travel money, holiday wardrobes, travel insurance, new luggage, all of these things can add up and make even the most budget of holidays rather more expensive than…

Halloween Fashion From New Look
In the car this morning, as I once again tried to avoid sleep walking through the school run, a song came on the radio that immediately made me smile. It was ‘The Monster Mash’ by Bobby-Boris Pickett and the Crypt-Kickers, a classic Halloween song that was a hit in both the 1960s and 1970s and has been played at a million Halloween parties every year since. Pink Clove Angila Dress Review
Pink Clove is a brand which exemplifies just how far plus size clothing has moved on in the last few years. I was recently asked if I wanted to do a review of something from the current Pink Clove collection, and I chose the Angila Panelled Front Plunge dress, which…

The Coat Edit
For sun worshipers, it is the time of year that we truly dread, the real coming of Autumn with the promise of Winter on the way. September has been a pretty lovely month, with plenty of Indian Summer moments to enjoy, but we can’t deny that the mornings now have that chilly feel, and the evenings are getting closer to the time when the dreaded central heating comes on…and stays on until at least March. In addition, the mornings are darker, the nights are drawing in, and it all leads to one, inescapable conclusion – we need to start talking about coats. One of the best things about Winter is…

August Outfit Post
August is, without doubt, one of my favourite months of the year. I get to spend quality time with Joe, enjoy lazyish days (as I work all through the night I might add) and then spend some time with my family in Wales. And this year, Wales actually had sunshine, which was lovely, and quite possibly a miracle! The wardrobe choices in August reflected the weather, and, as ever, featured wardrobe faves which highlight why buying classic pieces is always a good move. The black floral dress from F&F has been making regular appearances for the past couple of years, as have my trusty 70s style Clarks tan sandals. There…
