The Cheryl cole style backlash!
There seems to be an amazingly vicious style backlash against Cheryl Cole at present. This week tacky designer Julian MacDonald waded into the row by criticising her clothing choices on the X Factor this series, Cheryl reportedly ran off in tears after the tirade. OnLine fashion sites have also been vitriolic in their abuse, reporting on the return of the hair extensions, the red colour, the orange looking tan and the ice skater style short skirts in detrimental terms. October has been another wonderful month for fashion. We’ve seen the return of the X Factor, bringing high fashion and couture into our homes every Saturday night. The curves debate had continued, with Look magazine at the forefront of embracing real models, using Crystal Renn has their lead model in the High Street fashion show, whilst Jean Paul Gaultier had Beth Ditto both opening and closing his Paris shows with a glass of champagne in her hand.
