The Arcadia Press Day showed that men’s fashion is about to turn very interesting. With brighter fabrics and sporty themes to tie in with London 2012, and even a touch of Frankie Cocozza and Gary Barlow styling thrown in, Spring/Summer 2012 is about extremes, from sharp tailoring to festival themes. There were definitely lots of talking points, knits were thicker than usual, perhaps reflecting that our Summer’s aren’t what they used to be, whilst shorts were cut much shorter, designed to be worn with Aztec and Hawaiian style t-shirts for a beach hippy sort of look.
