The Rise And Rise of Korean Beauty

In recent years, there has most definitely been a shift when it comes to beauty and skincare. In the past, our cosmetic choices and skincare heroes seemed to be taken from the big brands like L’Oreal, and from the French fashion and beauty houses that promised quality and exceptional products bought at, let’s face it, often extortionate prices. As reported by news network CNN, the Korean beauty market is among the top 10 around the world, with an estimated worth of over $13.1 billion in sales in 2018, according to Mintel, a global market intelligence agency.  K-Beauty offers new and innovative products that test new ingredients and formulas, and have been shown to get some remarkable results. There is also an emphasis on using natural formulas, which certainly appeals to a new, younger generation that have been put off by the heavily perfumed, highly synthetic products that have ruled in the past. Added to this the fact that Korean Beauty is often very affordable, and you have a unique selling point that is hard to beat.

So, if you want to try Korean Beauty, where should you start?
