Tu launches new range in Sainsbury’s stores

I love the fact that supermarkets sell clothing. Apart from the easy convenience of picking up something when you are doing your food and home shop, I love the fact it seems like a guilt free purchase – just pop it in the trolley and pay for it with the rest of your shopping, hide it from your hubby amongst the loo rolls if need be!

Sainsbury’s has long since produced a great quality collection with ‘Tu’. The wardrobe basics and jeans have become almost wardrobe staples for many of us, and the Gok Wan collection is ever evolving and popular. And now, the brand  has been relaunched this month with a reinvigorated collection, full of fashion-forward pieces that truly live up to the motto ‘Live your Style’.

This new collection is more suggestive of high-end pieces than something you stick in a supermarket trolley. The beautiful oversized coat pictured above is just amazing – it would look equally as good worn over a little black dress as it would with the peg trousers and masculine style loafers.  A real wardrobe statement, I can see this being a total sell-out, a wardrobe classic you could wear for years to come.

And Tu is not just concerned with your wardrobe basics and everyday pieces. Slinky pencil skirts and stylish blouses, along with a great range of blazers make this a destination when you are on the hunt for great workwear. These are multifunctional too, the black pencil skirt is also a great option for an evening outfit, whilst many of the blouses and blazers can be styled with jeans and boots for weekend looks.

With a gorgeous range of accessories, including neat court shoes, pretty ballerina pumps and leather handbags that start from around £30, Tu is showing that quality and value can be synonymous. Tu is now definitely worth a visit, but, beware, there may not be enough room in your trolley for your grocery shop.

Sharing is caring!

Welcome to the world of fashion-mommy, a world of fashion, lifestyle, theatre and fun. Enjoy the ride.

I just wish my local store would get to grip with finally stocking clothes. I don’t think they’ve taken on anyone with clothing experience so the clothes are displayed with as much finesse as the potatoes!
