Uniqlo and Celia Birtwell – It’s here!

This is definitely one of the most anticipated High Street and designer collaborations ever. The legendary textile designer Celia Birtwell, the lady behind those iconic Ossie Clark prints, has collaborated with cool Japanese brand Uniqlo to create a series of pretty basics and much lusted over scarves and stoles. Taking those same iconic prints that once adorned the coolest of 1970s stars as the starting point, the prints have then been rescaled, recoloured and the reworked in order to make them fresh and irresistable for 2013.

Sure to be a total sell out, and with models Portia Freeman and Charlotte Pallister fronting an eye-catching campaign, this is a collection you need to have in your wardrobe. And with those famous Uniqlo prices, this is a designer collaboration you can actually afford to treat yourself too.
