X Muse Vodka Is Just Perfect For Summer
Whether you have a touch of James Bond about you and enjoy your vodka as a vodka Martini (shaken not stirred obviously), like it neat, or with a touch of tonic or lemonade, good vodka is a fabulous Summer drink. It looks cool, makes great cocktails, and is surprisingly low calorie, making it an alcoholic option for those who are watching their weight. What’s not to love?
X MUSE ( pronounced ‘tenth muse’ as in X the Roman Numeral) is the first blended barley vodka inspired by the spirit making traditions of Scotland. It comes in a striking, art deco inspired bottle that seems to have been made to be displayed on drinks trolleys, and uses the purest water and blend heritage barley to produce a vodka that is once tasted, never forgotten.
What Makes X Muse Taste so special?
You may be wondering what makes X Muse different from all the other vodkas that are on the market. The first is that the vodka is created and distilled entirely in Scotland, and uses water that has an unusual purity, drawn from an ancient aquifer (meaning – a body of permeable rock which can contain or transmit groundwater) at Scotland’s Bonnington estate. This purity gives the vodka a distinct flavour, allowing it to be enjoyed straight, just poured over ice, for the ultimate luxury drink.
What else can we add to this? Well, X Muse also use two distinct forms of barley, and explain-
We use two heritage varieties of barley, Maris Otter and Plumage Archer, distilled separately and combined in precise quantities. A process unique to us. It is this careful orchestration of barleys, prized for their flavour, that makes X MUSE so smooth and complex.
Cocktail Inspiration
Of course, with a vodka this good, it almost feels sacrilegious to say that it also makes divine cocktails, it feels like it should just be enjoyed, as it is. But X Muse have actually worked with the talented mixologist Russell Burgess to invent some stunning cocktails for very special fashion and art events that make the most of the stunning vodka. You can find those cocktails here if you are interested in mixology and want to try them out for your own Summer barbecues and parties.
