An Oreo Countdown To Christmas With La di da Sweet Treats

One of the best things about the countdown to Christmas has to be the fact that you can legitimately eat chocolate for breakfast and it is totally OK. Of course I’m not talking about a full, three course breakfast of chocolate, but finding a sweet treat behind a little window is something we can all get behind. I can’t be the only person who loves an advent calendar filled with chocolate, and they have certainly come a long way since the days of very cheap chocolate in the shape of a robin or a tree decoration.

This year’s advent calendar of choice is the one from master artisan baker La di da Sweet Treats. Their signature bake is the coated Orea, and Orea biscuit that is covered in delicious white Belgian chocolate. This years advent calendar further develops this idea by coating mini Oreos in both white and milk Belgian chocolate, and then topping them with handmade sugarpaste Christmas decorations making this the ultimate in scrumptious advent calendar fare.

Founder Sangita is a true independent success story. She launched  La di da Sweet Treats (which was initially known as La di da Cupcakes) in 2012 at the kitchen table in between the school run, and ended up supplying the mighty Selfridges and Harrods departments stores. Amazingly, she is a self-taught baker, one who not only features within the creme de la creme of department stores, but is also stocked by Not on the High Street, Prezzybox, Yumbles and Fodabox. This is chocolate ‘sweet treats’ of the highest order, and is definitely the advent calendar you should be treating yourself to, particularly as it costs just £22.00, far less than those overpriced beauty calendars filled with products you know you will never use!

This Christmas you can treat yourself, and support small business and a wonderful British success story.
