Julie May Lingerie: A Touch Of Luxury

Julie May lingerie may well be the best kept secret when it comes to beautiful, luxurious underwear. Featuring a range of products that cover lingerie, shape wear, nursing wear and postpartum pieces, Julie May has decided that whatever the current situation with your body, there really is no excuse for wearing ugly underwear. I have to say this is something I agree with totally – when your foundation layer makes you feel good, the rest of it usually works too.

TheĀ Flowery-Infrared Slim Silk Bodysuit Shaper is a really beautiful piece of underwear which looks incredible, but is also comfortable to wear, something I think is very important when it comes to your under layers. It combines the exquisite luxury of pure silk with nylon and spandex which ensures it has the stretch to enable it to move and stretch with you (and help accommodate that every slice of cake at lunchtime.)

There is just so much to recommend this shaper, and not the least that the vintage style print is absolutely gorgeous and is sure to get the pulses racing. Everything about this shaper is good, from the easily adjustable straps that will not cut into your shoulders and will fit just right, to the silk that lines the cups of the bra, which are designed for the most sensitive of skin types.

The mesh detailing at the sides is both a sexy, yet classy look and is again super stretchy for all day comfort, whilst the bra cups are underwired to help you create that hourglass shape and pert breasts (even if, like me, they now need a little help in that department.) I also love that, unlike some other shape wear and bodysuits, this has the press stud fastenings to make it easy to go to the toilet, and there are two sets just in case you need to extend the gusset for comfort.

I find this so comfortable to wear, either under a dress or with trousers, it really doesn’t matter. It would also make a fabulous gift, as it comes beautifully boxed by Julie May.
