More Autumn Updates From Lindex
Lindex is one of my favourite fashion destinations when it comes to wearable, stylish yet affordable pieces. I featured a couple of my current fave pieces last month in a post you can find here and today I am featuring two more. As ever, these pieces have a classic look which means you will be able to wear them a lot over the coming season, and well beyond.
Knitted jumper
We have most definitely strayed into knitted jumper season, and Lindex have produced a stunning retro, short sleeved design in a range of colours. The knitted jumper is described as ‘Soft, short sleeved jumper with an allover hole-knit pattern.’
The jumper is very soft, with fabric that is not itchy, something that can be a problem with some knits. This is due to the composition of the fabric which is a recycled polyester blend.
The jumper is long enough to mean that it can be worn easily with jeans, but will also work with a skirt, as I have shown below. The soft lilac shade looks great with both black and brown, but also works as a touch of bright when worn with neutrals.
My Styling
I’m clinging onto any last remnants of Summer by wearing my ballerina pumps but can easily substitute these for Boots as the weather cools. I added a khaki utility jacket when I was out at the seaside and really like the shade of knaki with the soft lilac of the jumper. I also added a beautiful viscose maxi skirt that I will tell you more about below. I tucked the jumper up slightly, so it could be worn lower on your stomach if you preferred.
Viscose Maxi Skirt
A maxi skirt is great in both Summer and Winter, and this beautiful design, the soft viscose maxi skirt, is a real Winter wardrobe winner. It has a full elasticated waist band, and two deep pockets on either side. This is a full maxi length, but not floor sweeping (I am 5ft 7 for reference.) I am wearing size large as a size 14-16 but this is generous, I could’ve easily sized down.
The skirt feels soft and expensive, it contains OnceMore® from Södra, a viscose fibre raw material, where recycled textiles are combined with wood from the forest. I love Lindex’s commitments to using recycled fabrics, and the stories behind them.
