The raffia sling bag comes in a wide range of colours, but I have opted for this beautiful, mouthwatering mint shade as a perfect slice of Spring styling. I love green, and this mint is a particularly pretty shade that contrasts so nicely with the neutral raffia.

This is described by Elie Beaumont as the perfect day to night bag and I have to agree. It is just big enough to hold all your essentials – your phone, purse and cards, keys, a lippie, tissues, a mirror – but it is not a bulky or heavy design.

The zip fastening goes all the way across, and so is far more secure than a press stud or magnetic clasp, which is something I really like about this bag. The bag also has a deep internal zip pocket that is perfect to store essentials like your bank card or Oyster/travel pass which you might need to find in a hurry.

Styling

To say this is a stylish design is an understatement, this bag is an absolute beaut. The leather is soft and supple, and covers the lid of the bag and the full back. The front is raffia, the perfect Summer fabric. The design is that of a sling bag – almost a bumbag but designed to be worn much higher on the body. The adjustable leather strap allows you to wear this how it is comfortable for you, and it could be easily worn as a shoulder bag if you wish, or the strap could be significantly shortened to be worn almost baguette style.
