Reviewed: Elie Beaumont Hobo Bag

When it comes to finding the perfect handbag for Spring, there are certain boxes the bag needs to tick. It needs to be a neutral shade in order to match everything in your wardrobe. It needs to be both stylish enough to use for work wear and formal occasions, yet also work with more casual looks. It needs to be security conscious, so you feel safe putting all your most essential belongings into it, and, it needs to be hard wearing enough that you will be able to use it, again and again, season after season. My choice of bag for Spring is the Hobo bag. Elie Beaumont have a wide range of designs when it comes to handbags including the Town, hobo, sling, or tassel bag. I love the Hobo style for so many reasons. The first is the versatility of the bag- the detachable handle means you could use this as a half moon clutch, then you can add the strap and adjust its length to make it a shoulder bag (using the strap tightly to give it a baguette style, or looser for a shoulder bag style), It can also be used crossbody for the hands free style that many women love when they are out and about. It can also be worn higher up, almost ‘bum bag’ style, which is how I am wearing it here.

Other Features

The bag comes in a beautiful soft leather, and in a range of colours. I opted for camel as I love this neutral colourway which has a 1970’s style feel. The bag has a strong and stable zip fastening for security, and also has an inner pocket which would be a great place to store a credit card or Oyster card for easy access. The bag is compact, and yet roomy, certainly big enough to store all your everyday essentials like your mobile phone,  keys, wallet, lipstick, mirror etc.

All in all, this is the perfect bag for all occasions.
