Next launches a stunning new fragrance range

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to a very exciting product launch by Next. To be held at the plush Hempel Hotel in London, and concerned with all things fragrance, beauty and pampering, I was really looking forward to the event when disaster struck. My three-year old bumped his head at school and ended up with an injury that required hospital treatment. Instead of a luxurious pampering event I spent an afternoon in a minor injuries unit.

This was a real shame as I am a huge fan of Next fragrance. I have been using Just Pink for many years, and often find it in my Christmas stocking as a gift from friends and family. In a similar way, my mom adores the Cashmere range, and usually has a bottle in her handbag for both everyday and evening use. Next fragrances have a reputation for having beautiful scents and pretty packaging, but they are also inexpensive – making them an affordable treat for yourself or gift for a loved one.

This season Next are launching four new fragrance ranges, the City collection. Comprising of the complete fragrance experience, from eau de Parfum, body lotion, and candles and diffusers for the home, the collection is aimed at the fashion-concious, with each collection named for the fashion weeks, Paris, London, New York and Milan.

Each collection has a distinctive scent that will appeal to different woman. London is gorgeous and zesty, with a scent that is a mixed of citrus and cederwood. I think this is a very unisex fragrance that you may find your other half stealing. Milan mixes fruity and florals to make an intoxicating sweet fragrance. Paris is definitely the most sensual of the fragrances, having a musky undertone that makes it feel like a very  grown up fragrance. And last, but never least is New York, which blends tuberose, white gardenia, orange blossom and my Ylang, Ylang.

With clean and elegant minimalist packaging, and the gorgeous black and white bows on top of each box, the City Collection has all the style of Jo Malone, but with prices starting at just £8, this is a collection that offers great quality products at really great price points.
