Rosalie Oriental Printed Jacket From Pink Clove
I am a big fan of Pink Clove. It is a label that caters to plus sized woman that doesn’t stick to the plus size rules. There are no butterflies, no tent like dresses and tops, nothing designed to hide the body in shame. Instead it is full of fashion-forward styles, body hugging looks that could grace any High Street store and show that body confidence should reign supreme.
This season, Pink Clove have a fabulous new range that is just perfect for the  transition from Summer to Autumn. My pick of the new range is the Rosalie Oriental Printed Jacket, a plus size oriental printed jacket that provides a handy cover up on chillier days and looks as good casual with jeans as it does worn over a dress.
The Rosalie Oriental jacket, is, as you can probably guess , heavily influenced by Japanese Kimono style. It is a rich, vibrant shade of green with a large all over floral print, long sleeves and a tie belt at the waist. The jacket is designed so that it could be worn belted or loose and flowing  with either way looking great, a very stylish look.
Kimono jackets are one of those styles that made a comeback a few years ago that show no signs of disappearing (think also Bardot tops and maxi dresses.) I think this is due in no small part to their versatility, Pink Clove show them worn with matching culotte style trousers for a pyjamas style look of block print, whilst I like them worn with skinnier and a statement necklace for a weekend look.
In terms of size I would say size up. I am wearing a 16 and would like this just a bit bigger for a slightly looser, less tailored look (although this is my preference.) The fabric is almost like a vintage crepe de chine, so not particularly stretchy, but it does feel quite luxurious.
