One of my favourite brands this summer has been Esprit. I have added quite a few pieces from the brand to my Summer Wardrobe, just loving the quality of the clothes and the fact that they offer something that is a little different from the majority of High Street stores. On a less happy note, I also managed to lose my favourite Esprit cardigan during a day in the park. The weather got warm, so I took my cardigan off and put it across my bag. At some point it must have slipped onto the floor and I didn’t notice until it was much to late. Despite retracing my steps, the cardi was long gone and I was more than a little gutted.
My Esprit faves
My current Esprit obsession is in the form of boho style dresses. Esprit has a great selection of these and I think they are the perfect midsummer buy, especially when the summer itself has turned out to be just a little bit of a disappointment. For boho, I am not necessarily talking of gypsy style necklines or acres of white cotton, instead I am looking at ethnic and paisley printed dresses, often with three quarter sleeves, and coming in all lengths, from short and flirty, to the cover all sins maxi length.
These are dresses that will be a really useful addition to your wardrobe. You can wear them now with sandals or wedges and they will look totally summer appropriate – in fact they make a great outfit for the airport as they are cool and comfortable. As we hit the Autumn they will look equally good teamed with a leather biker or denim jacket and a pair of ankle boots, and you can even take them into winter by adding a pair of opaque tights. If you believe in making your wardrobe earn its keep, these dresses will do that, and then some.
Another alternative that I have heard about that have bohemian dresses for sale are Top Tier Style. They offer a range of summer style designs that are great for that airy and gypsy look.
Boho dresses…not just for summer!
