Each week, in the run up to Christmas, I am going to post a gift guide pointing out some of the best gift ideas from around the net. These will comprise of the bright and beautiful, the weird and wonderful, with the idea being that there really should be something for everyone, no matter how hard they are to buy for.

First up I am looking at some of the beauty ideas from Selfridges, including those amazing beauty Advent Calendars that frankly fly out the door and become sell-outs before you even have chance to blink. This year it is a lovely celestial inspired design that is echoing the Christmas theme at Selfridges (because what could be more Christmassy than a star.) I have also included the Ciate nails offering that seems to get better every year, I love the London inspired design of this year’s calendar.

I have also featured some of the gift ideas from HQ Hair. These offer great quality brands like Elemis, REN and Bliss in a range of gift sets that have great savings as a set than if you were to buy the items individually.

Finally today I am looking at some gift ideas for Qwerkity who have a really interesting collection of gifts for men. I love the fact that some of the gifts are cheap enough to be classed as pocket money prices, meaning children can pick something cool and quirky for their dads and grandads this year.
